There's a Library App for That! : Apps for Library Services

Use the EBSCO Mobile App to search for journal articles and eBooks from the library's EBSCO databases.

Step One: Go to Academic Search Complete, click Sign in, and create a My EBSCOhost account.

Step Two: Download EBSCO Mobile from the App Store or Google Play. Find Manchester University and log in with your My EBSCOhost username/password. (Allow ebscomobile to use ebsco.zone to sign in.)

Step Three: Tap the magnifying glass at the bottom of the screen and start searching!

Step One: Download Wayback Machine Mobile from the App Store or Google Play. 

Step Two: Sign up or Log In wih your free Internet Archive account. Enter URL  and start searching for archived web pages!

Films on Demand provides streaming access to outstanding documentaries, award-winning educational films, and independent films by computer or smart device.

Step One: Go to Films on Demand, click Your Profile, and sign up as a new user.

Step Two: Download the Films on Demand app. Log in with the username/password you created.

Step Three: Watch cool stuff for free!
